My First Night Shoot
I just got my first DSLR camera last Friday and really had no idea how to use it. After reading up on how to use it all weekend, I was fortunate to not have to wait to long to put my practice to use!
I was pretty worried about the pictures not coming out too well since I am used to using a point and shoot, or shooting video. I was pretty happy with the way some of them turned out.
These shots were taken in the Bridge Creek, Tuttle area looking NW towards Mustang and El Reno. This was the perfect storm for me to practice on since it was barely moving at all. This was a real relaxing "chase" compared to most. I got to just kick back and enjoy the moment. I can surely get used to that! I had a good time, and met a photographer that showed up were I was. It was nice to watch the storm and chat about photography, I even learned a few tips. Thanks Charley!
I know I still have a lot to learn and I will get better at this as time goes on. But for now I am happy to have had the chance to give it a try!
